ComTech Energy was a key partner to Autobus Galland for the design, build, and project management of the newly opened Autobus Galland RNG station in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. This station is an important development for sustainable energy infrastructure in Quebec and represents a significant achievement as the province’s first Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) station. It will have a significant impact on carbon emission reduction and adopting greener practices throughout Quebec’s transportation industry.
The fast-fill station is used to refuel a fleet of public transit buses for the City of Mont-Tremblant (operated by Autobus Galland) and is also available for any RNG-powered fleets and vehicles in the area.
ComTech employees recently attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new station along with representatives from Enirgir, Autobus Galland, and Pierre Fitzgibbon, Quebec’s Minister of Economy Innovation and Energy.
“Over ten years, this is the CO2 equivalent of 7.5 million kilometers by car that we will avoid producing thanks to this new fleet of carbon-neutral buses! This measure is directly aligned with the objectives of our Climate Plan to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions linked to transport which constitute 70% of our collective emissions.
